Socket Weld Flange is a flange where the pipe end is inserted into the stepped bore of the flange ring and welded at the pipe end and outer side. The flange comes in two types: with and without a neck. The necked socket weld flange has good rigidity, minimal welding deformation, and better sealing performance. Socket weld flanges are suitable for small diameter, high-pressure, and high-temperature pipe connections, commonly used in high-pressure pipe systems in industries such as boiler pressure vessels, petroleum, chemical, and shipbuilding. By inserting the pipe into the stepped bore of the flange and then welding from the outside, a strong connection and reliable seal can be achieved.
