The 1-Piece Threaded Ball Valve is the simplest type of ball valve, featuring a body constructed from a single, solid piece of material, with the ball cavity and flow paths machined within, and threaded connections at both ends. This integral structure eliminates potential leakage from body joints, making it exceptionally robust and durable. Due to its simple design and cost-effectiveness, the 1-piece ball valve is one of the most common shut-off valves for general-purpose media such as water, air, and oil. It is important to note, however, that its one-piece construction means internal parts cannot be serviced in-line; replacement of the entire valve is typically required in case of failure.
