The Large Diameter Swing Check Valve is an automatic valve specifically engineered for large-scale pipelines to prevent backflow. Its structure is similar to that of a standard swing check valve but is optimized for large-diameter applications, for instance, by incorporating a more robust body and swing arm, and often including damping devices to reduce water hammer upon disc closure. It operates automatically, opening with the forward flow of the medium and closing by gravity and back-pressure. These valves are widely used in large-scale water supply systems, sewage treatment plants, power station circulating water lines, and industrial hydraulic projects.
