GB Standard Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve

  • Low Operating Torque: The ball is supported by fixed trunnions, minimizing friction and allowing for low-torque operation even under high-pressure conditions, which reduces actuator costs.
  • Reliable Sealing Performance: Features a spring-loaded floating seat design, ensuring reliable fluid blockage by both upstream and downstream seats when the valve is fully open or closed. PTFE elastic seals combined with metal seats provide dual sealing.
  • Fire-Safe Structure: In the event of a fire burning out the soft seals, the metal-to-metal seal between the ball and seat maintains integrity, complying with fire safety standards like API 6FA and API 607.
  • Automatic Pressure Relief: If the pressure in the valve's body cavity abnormally rises, the seats automatically retract to relieve pressure, ensuring valve safety.
  • Anti-Blowout Stem: The stem features a bottom-entry design with a back seat, effectively preventing it from being blown out by pressure, enhancing operational safety.

The GB Standard Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve is a high-performance ball valve designed and manufactured in accordance with Chinese National Standards (GB Standard). It is suitable for long-distance pipelines and various industrial applications, particularly excelling in high-pressure and large-diameter scenarios. Unlike floating ball valves, its ball is precisely fixed by upper and lower trunnions, ensuring stability even under high differential pressures, reducing operating torque, and extending the service life of the seat seals. GB Standard Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves are widely used in petroleum, natural gas, chemical, power, and environmental protection industries for reliable shut-off or flow control of various corrosive and non-corrosive media.
