The American Standard Swing Check Valve is a check valve designed and manufactured in strict accordance with American national standards such as ANSI and API. It features a disc that swings freely on a hinge pin, opening automatically under the pressure of the forward-flowing medium. When the flow ceases or reverses, the disc closes automatically by its own weight and back-pressure, preventing any backflow. Characterized by its robust construction, low flow resistance, and reliable sealing, this valve is widely used in demanding industrial pipeline systems such as petroleum, chemical, and power stations.
