The American Standard OS&Y Globe Valve is a globe valve designed and manufactured according to international advanced standards such as ANSI (American National Standards Institute) and API (American Petroleum Institute). Its most distinctive features are the "rising stem" and the "OS&Y" (Outside Screw and Yoke) structure. The rising stem means that the valve stem moves up or down during operation, with its threaded part exposed outside the valve body, allowing operators to visually determine the valve's open or closed status. The OS&Y structure isolates the stem threads from the fluid medium, effectively protecting them from corrosion and wear, thereby extending the valve's service life. These valves are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and power generation for on-off service.
