The American Standard Non-rising Stem Globe Valve is a globe valve designed and manufactured according to American standards, with its primary characteristic being a "non-rising stem" design. Unlike rising stem valves, the stem of a non-rising stem valve does not extend or retract during operation; its threaded portion remains inside the valve body and is not exposed to the outside environment. This design results in a more compact valve structure, making it particularly suitable for installations with limited overhead space or applications requiring special protection against dust and corrosion for the stem exterior. Non-rising stem globe valves operate by rotating the handwheel, which in turn moves the stem and disc up or down, enabling precise control over the flow of fluid media. They are characterized by a simple structure, good sealing performance, and flexible operation.
