The 3-Piece Threaded Ball Valve is a type of ball valve assembled from three separate components—a central body and two end caps—clamped together by four or more long bolts. Its most significant advantage is the exceptional ease of in-line maintenance. When service or replacement of internal seals is required, the central body section can be completely removed from the pipeline simply by detaching the bolts, while the end caps remain in place. This design drastically simplifies the maintenance process and reduces downtime, making it ideal for applications where maintenance efficiency is critical.
